Between the 21st and 27th June council and waste companies up and down the country will be trying to push home the need to increase our recycling activities. This year, the campaign, managed by WRAP, will focus on trying to increase recycling of a particular area of waste – small household electrical goods.
So if you have any TV’s, toasters, CD players or hairdryers that you’re finished with but can be reused, the campaign have teamed up with the British Heart Foundation to accept your used electricals for resale in their charity shops.
