Been keeping up with the 6 Nations Rugby? Whether you have or haven’t; you may well have seen the antics of one skip hire lorry driver reported in the national newspapers. Welsh back-row forward, Andy Powell, found himself arrested at 6am on Sunday morning at a service station off junction 33 of the M4 for drink driving.
No laughing matter but there’s one part to this story that is a tad unexpected – Powell was driving a Golf Cart at the time. Before his dramatic return to rugby 15 months ago, Powell was more likely to be found driving a lorry for his family’s company Powell Skip Hire and his recent antics have found him once again unable to play at the highest level.
