We’re now in March, a fact you just can’t escape, just 3 months from the waste industry’s biggest awards ceremony at The Plant and Waste Recycling Show. The event is in its second year at Paignton Green and fills the gap that we all felt in our hearts when the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management left the Bay after 20 years.
The PaWRS is doing just fine as a replacement and this year over 250 councils will be attending which is a testament to the importance of the event. Obviously, we, like many other waste management specialists, will be keen to see who lifts the industry award for recycling and for skip hire and waste transfer. Good luck to all those in the running!
