A skip hire operator from Swansea appeared in court charged with 117 counts of illegally dumping waste and receiving over £80,000 while doing it. The operator in question is also accused of providing waste management facilities without the correct permits and treating controlled waste without a licence.
And because your waste is always yours, even when it leaves your site, even those who used the skip hire company where in the dock. Customers of the operator also appeared charged with allowing their waste to be dumped illegally. It just shows how much it pays to make sure your waste is being taken care of properly.
