Welcome to the perilous world of skip hire, who knows what’s going to happen next?! Well we’re pretty sure that Kate Scott and Paul Harding didn’t see this coming… The morning after they had a skip deliverd to their front lawn, they had no front lawn left.
The couple woke up to find 20-foot deep hole in their front garden and the skip was right in the middle of it. They’d ordered the skip because they were building a conservatory and didn’t know about the disused cesspit beneath their lawn. Luckily, a local skip hire company was able to help free the skip from the pit. Keith Walker, of K&S Walker Skips, said: ‘I’ve never seen anything like this happen before’. Neither have we Keith!
