A skip hire firm in Darlington have been served with a stop notice from Darlington Borough Council due to complaints of excessive noise by surrounding residents. The notice, insists that the Skip Hire company stick to their operating hours as agreed in their planning permission. The notice from the council was prompted by local residents protesting around the site. If the hire company fail to stick to their normal operating hours they could be forced to pay a £20,000 fine.
