A Farm that provides skip hire in Aberdeen is to benefit from a £60million pot put aside by the Scottish Government for conservation projects across the country. The money will support schemes such as tree planting, wildlife protecion recycling and small-scale renewable energy projects.
Overall there will be grants ranging from £6,000 to more than £300,000 going towards a variety of projects that look to improve the natural environment and create a more sustainable future. The lucky skip hire company in question is Brunthill Farm, they’ll be receiving £191,600 to expand the hire and waste recycling side of their business. They plan to invest in machinery to better process and reuse waste coming in on the skips and therefore increase the amount of rubbish being recycled.
