A total of four people have been arrested at a skip hire company in Otley after an investigation conducted by the Environment Agency (EA). Representatives from the agency turned up at the premises of the waste removal and disposal service on December 11.
As a result, three men and a woman were arrested by West Yorkshire Police and subsequently released on police bail in lue of more enquiries. According to one communications officer at the agency, the EA turned up at the site after allegations of a waste transfer station being operated without a licence.
